If you do outside reading, you should properly cite any sources as well. With respect to citation, you may use either full footnotes, or parenthetical references with a full bibliography. In either case, you should follow one of the generally accepted styles of academic citation.

This policy has been adopted by both Democratic and Republican administrations, though its most ardent proponents were the neoconservatives of the George W. Bush administration. Using the theoretical ideas discussed in the course so far, critically evaluate this policy. Do you think it was a good idea? Why or why not?
